Enrollment in a course does not guarantee a specific personal, spiritual, emotional, professional, financial, medical, or therapeutic result.
Certificates issued through The Center for Spiritual Education and Practice are certificates of course completion only, unless otherwise clearly stated in writing. They do not represent state licensure, academic credit, professional licensure, medical training, mental health training, board-approved continuing education, or authorization to practice any regulated profession.
8. Course Access and Technology
Some courses or materials may be hosted through third-party platforms, including but not limited to LearnWorlds, Hostinger, video platforms, payment processors, email systems, or other digital tools.
You are responsible for having appropriate internet access, device access, software access, and technical ability to participate in online course materials.
We are not responsible for disruptions, outages, platform changes, browser issues, device incompatibility, internet interruptions, or technical problems caused by third-party services or user equipment.
9. Payments, Fees, and Enrollment
Prices for courses, workshops, services, and other offerings are listed on the website, course platform, registration page, invoice, or other written communication at the time of purchase.
Payment is required according to the terms listed at checkout or registration. Enrollment or access may be withheld, paused, or canceled if payment is incomplete, declined, disputed, reversed, or otherwise not received.
We reserve the right to change pricing, course availability, service offerings, schedules, and registration requirements at any time. Price changes do not apply retroactively to purchases already completed unless otherwise stated.
10. Refunds, Cancellations, and Transfers
Refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, and transfer options may vary by course, workshop, event, or service.
Unless a specific refund policy is stated on the course registration page or in writing, the following general policy applies:
Digital course access, downloadable materials, recorded content, and online learning materials are generally non-refundable once access has been granted.
For hybrid or in-person courses, refunds may be limited once course materials have been accessed, seats have been reserved, manuals or supplies have been ordered, or the course has begun.
Missed classes, missed live sessions, missed in-person components, failure to complete coursework, technology issues on the student's side, or personal schedule conflicts do not automatically qualify for a refund.
We may, at our discretion, offer a course transfer, credit, rescheduled participation option, or partial refund when appropriate.
If The Center for Spiritual Education and Practice cancels a paid course or event and does not provide a reasonable rescheduling option, participants will be offered a refund or credit for the canceled offering.
All refund and cancellation decisions are subject to applicable law.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all original content on this website and in our courses is owned by Shadowhaus Counseling & Holistic Wellness LLC DBA The Center for Spiritual Education and Practice or used with permission, license, attribution, or applicable notice.
This includes, but is not limited to, website text, course content, videos, handouts, worksheets, guides, slides, images, audio recordings, meditations, reflection prompts, downloads, branding elements, logos, course structure, and original educational materials.
You may access purchased or provided materials for your own personal educational use only.

14. Consent, Boundaries, and In-Person Participation
Some Reiki or spiritual education offerings may include discussion of hand placements, practice exercises, guided experiences, partner practice, or optional hands-on or hands-off practice.
Participation is expected to be respectful, consent-based, and appropriate to the learning environment. Students may choose hands-on, hands-off, or observation-only participation when appropriate. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
No student is required to disclose trauma history, medical history, mental health history, private spiritual experiences, or personal information beyond what is necessary for course participation.
We reserve the right to remove or restrict participation for students who violate boundaries, act inappropriately, create safety concerns, disrupt the course environment, or fail to follow course expectations.
15. Website Information and Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information on this website. However, we do not guarantee that all website content, course descriptions, pricing, availability, schedules, links, or materials will always be complete, accurate, current, or error-free.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Shadowhaus Counseling & Holistic Wellness LLC DBA The Center for Spiritual Education and Practice, its owner, facilitators, contractors, representatives, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of your use of this website, your violation of these Terms and Conditions, your misuse of course materials, your posted content, your violation of another person's rights, or your unlawful conduct.
24. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Access
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel enrollment, restrict access, remove content, suspend participation, or discontinue access to website features, courses, communities, or services if we determine that a user has violated these Terms and Conditions, disrupted the learning environment, created a safety concern, misused materials, failed to pay required fees, or acted in a manner inconsistent with the purpose of The Center for Spiritual Education and Practice.

28. Student Accounts and Login Credentials
Certain courses, programs, communities, materials, and services require the creation of an individual student account through LearnWorlds or another course platform.
You agree to provide accurate and current registration information and to maintain the confidentiality of your username, password, login link, and other account credentials.
Your account is for your individual use only. You may not share your account, login credentials, course access, materials, or restricted content with another person.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless you promptly notify us that your credentials have been lost, stolen, disclosed, or used without authorization.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe that account sharing, unauthorized access, fraudulent activity, misuse, or a security concern has occurred.
29. Course Access Periods
Purchasing or enrolling in a course grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access the course according to the access period stated on the course sales page, checkout page, enrollment communication, or course description.
Course access may be provided for a specified number of days or months, for the duration of a scheduled cohort, or for another period disclosed at enrollment.
The words "lifetime access," if used, mean access for as long as the applicable course remains actively hosted and made available by The Center for Spiritual Education and Practice. They do not guarantee access for the student's lifetime, permanent storage, continued operation of a third-party platform, or indefinite availability of unchanged content.
We may update, reorganize, replace, archive, or discontinue course content when reasonably necessary. When practicable, we will provide reasonable notice before permanently discontinuing paid course access.
Students are responsible for downloading any materials specifically made available for download before their access period ends.
30. Enrollment Is Personal and Non-Transferable
Course enrollment, certificates, assessment results, attendance records, and student accounts are issued to the person identified during registration.
Enrollment may not be sold, assigned, transferred, gifted, or shared with another person without prior written approval.
Any transfer, course credit, or substitute-participant arrangement is discretionary unless a different policy is expressly stated for the particular offering.
31. Course Completion Requirements
Completion requirements may include viewing specified lessons, completing required activities, passing knowledge checks or assessments, attending live or in-person components, participating in practice activities, submitting acknowledgments, completing evaluations, or meeting other requirements stated within the course.
Merely purchasing a course, opening course materials, attending only part of a program, or allowing an access period to expire does not constitute course completion.
We may decline to issue a certificate or other completion documentation when required components have not been completed, attendance requirements have not been met, assessments have not been passed, required conduct standards have not been followed, or payment remains outstanding.
32. Assessments, Knowledge Checks, and Academic Integrity
Courses may contain quizzes, knowledge checks, written reflections, practical demonstrations, evaluations, or other learning activities.
You agree to complete required assessments honestly and independently unless collaboration is expressly permitted.
You may not obtain, distribute, post, reproduce, sell, share, or publish assessment questions, answer keys, grading criteria, or restricted course activities.
We may invalidate assessment results, require an assessment to be repeated, withhold completion documentation, or restrict course access when there is evidence of cheating, impersonation, unauthorized assistance, answer sharing, plagiarism, or other academic dishonesty.
33. Certificates and Training Documentation
Certificates and other training records will be issued using the student name and information maintained in the applicable course account.
You are responsible for ensuring that your name and identifying information are entered correctly before a certificate is issued.
Requests to correct or replace certificates may be subject to identity verification, administrative processing requirements, or a reasonable replacement fee when permitted by law.
A certificate confirms only that the stated requirements of the applicable course were completed. It does not guarantee competence beyond the course scope, employment, insurance eligibility, professional recognition, membership eligibility, licensure, or acceptance by any third-party organization.
Students are responsible for determining whether a course or certificate satisfies the requirements of an employer, professional organization, insurer, licensing body, school, or other third party before enrolling.
34. Hybrid and In-Person Course Requirements
Some programs may combine self-paced online learning with scheduled virtual instruction, live demonstrations, and in-person training.
The online and in-person portions may be required components of a single course. Completion of the online portion alone does not necessarily qualify a participant for a certificate or completion documentation.
Students are responsible for reviewing course schedules, locations, deadlines, preparation instructions, required materials, and attendance expectations before enrolling.
Unless otherwise stated, transportation, lodging, meals, parking, internet service, personal equipment, and other participation-related expenses are the student's responsibility.
We may reasonably modify an in-person location, room assignment, instructor, schedule, activity, or delivery format when necessary because of safety concerns, illness, weather, facility issues, enrollment levels, emergencies, platform outages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
35. Attendance, Late Arrival, and Missed Components
Students are expected to arrive on time and remain present for required live or in-person course components.
Late arrival, early departure, extended absence, missed instruction, or failure to participate in required activities may prevent the student from meeting course-completion requirements.
When feasible, we may offer a make-up activity, transfer, alternate date, or other remediation option. Such options are not guaranteed and may involve an additional fee when additional instruction, materials, facility use, or administrative work is required.
Recordings of live or in-person sessions are not guaranteed.
36. Student Conduct and Learning Environment
Students must interact respectfully with instructors, facilitators, staff, guests, and other students.
Conduct that may result in removal or restriction includes harassment, intimidation, threats, discrimination, sexual misconduct, repeated disruption, unwanted physical contact, boundary violations, unauthorized recording, intoxication, unsafe conduct, deliberate misuse of spiritual practices, disclosure of another student's private information, or conduct that reasonably interferes with the safety or educational experience of others.
Removal based on serious misconduct or a safety concern does not automatically entitle the student to a refund.
37. Recording, Photography, and Screenshots
Students may not record, photograph, livestream, screen-record, screenshot, transcribe, reproduce, or distribute restricted course content, live sessions, in-person instruction, student discussions, demonstrations, assessments, or community interactions without prior written permission.
Permission to record one activity does not create permission to record any other activity.
The Center may photograph or record certain events, classes, or instructional activities only when appropriate notice and any required consent have been provided. Students who do not wish to appear in optional promotional recordings should notify the facilitator before recording begins.
38. Community Confidentiality
Course communities and group discussions may involve personal reflections, spiritual experiences, questions, or voluntary disclosures by participants.
Although students are expected to respect one another's privacy, The Center cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality.
You agree not to share, repeat, publish, screenshot, record, identify, or distribute another participant's statements, images, experiences, or personal information outside the course environment without that person's express permission.
Students should use discretion and avoid sharing information they would not want disclosed outside the learning environment.
References to a course community or related learning community include any private Facebook group or other third-party community space designated for enrolled students.
39. Communications and Electronic Notices
By creating an account, enrolling, or making a purchase, you agree that we may send operational communications reasonably related to your account, enrollment, payment, course access, schedules, deadlines, safety, certificates, policy changes, or customer support.
Operational communications are separate from optional promotional or marketing communications.
Where required, marketing communications will be sent according to the preferences and consent options available through the website or course platform.
You are responsible for maintaining a current email address, checking spam or junk folders, and reviewing course announcements and account notifications.
A failure to read an operational email or platform notification does not automatically excuse missed deadlines, sessions, or course requirements when the communication was sent to the contact information associated with your account.
LearnWorlds provides privacy controls involving cookies, communications, and user data rights, and those settings should remain coordinated with your separate Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
40. Payment Plans, Subscriptions, and Recurring Charges
When a course, program, membership, or service is offered through a payment plan or recurring subscription, the price, billing interval, number of payments, renewal terms, and cancellation method will be disclosed at or before checkout.
By selecting a recurring payment option, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method provided according to the disclosed billing schedule until the payment obligation is completed or the subscription is canceled according to its stated terms.
Canceling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not ordinarily create a refund for a billing period that has already begun, except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
Failure to use or access a subscription does not by itself cancel the subscription.
Access may be suspended or terminated when a scheduled payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or remains unpaid.
41. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, students are encouraged to contact us at contact@spiritualpittsburgh.com so that we have a reasonable opportunity to review and address the concern.
Initiating a chargeback does not automatically cancel an enrollment, payment obligation, or agreement.
We may suspend course access while a payment dispute is pending.
We reserve the right to provide the payment processor or financial institution with relevant transaction records, including checkout disclosures, enrollment records, login history, course-access records, communications, completed activities, attendance records, and applicable policies.
Nothing in this section limits any lawful consumer right to dispute an unauthorized or improper charge.
42. Promotions, Discounts, and Coupon Codes
Promotions, discounts, scholarships, coupon codes, and special pricing may be subject to eligibility criteria, enrollment limits, expiration dates, and additional terms.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers may not be combined, transferred, redeemed for cash, or applied retroactively to a previous purchase.
We may correct, reject, or cancel a promotion that was issued or applied because of a technical error, misuse, unauthorized distribution, fraud, or an obvious pricing mistake, subject to applicable law.
43. Changes to Courses and Instructional Content
We may revise course content to improve accuracy, educational quality, accessibility, organization, safety, or alignment with updated practices, platform capabilities, or third-party requirements.
Course titles, lesson order, supplemental resources, instructors, examples, activities, and platform presentation may change without materially altering the overall nature of the purchased course.
A student is not entitled to a refund solely because content has been updated, reformatted, expanded, or replaced with substantially equivalent material.
44. Instructor and Facilitator Availability
Enrollment does not include unlimited individual access to an instructor or facilitator unless expressly included in the course description.
Questions, feedback, assignment review, live support, private consultation, and response times may be limited according to the structure of the course.
Course messaging, email, comments, and community areas are not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent, crisis-related, medical, or mental health needs.
45. Accessibility and Accommodation Requests
We aim to provide a respectful and reasonably accessible learning environment.
Students seeking a reasonable accommodation should contact us as early as possible and provide enough information to allow the request to be evaluated.
We will consider reasonable accommodation requests in good faith, but we cannot guarantee that every requested modification will be available or appropriate, particularly when it would fundamentally alter the course, eliminate an essential requirement, create an undue burden, or create a safety concern.
Students are not required to disclose more private information than is reasonably necessary to evaluate an accommodation request.
46. Platform Records and Proof of Participation
The records maintained through LearnWorlds, payment processors, email systems, attendance records, and other business systems may be used to document enrollment, acceptance of policies, payments, account access, lesson progress, assessment activity, communications, attendance, and course completion.
Technical records are not guaranteed to be error-free. Students should notify us promptly if they believe their course progress, payment history, attendance, or completion status has been recorded incorrectly.
47. Electronic Acceptance
Checking an acceptance box, creating an account, submitting an enrollment form, completing checkout, accessing course content, or continuing to use the course platform after being presented with these Terms constitutes electronic acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Electronic acceptance has the same effect as agreeing to these Terms in writing, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
48. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the fullest extent permitted or modified as necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
49. No Waiver
A failure or delay by The Center for Spiritual Education and Practice in enforcing any provision of these Terms and Conditions does not waive the right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.
Any waiver must be expressly stated in writing by an authorized representative of Shadowhaus Counseling & Holistic Wellness LLC.
50. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, applicable checkout disclosures, course-specific policies, consent forms, and written enrollment terms, constitute the agreement between you and The Center for Spiritual Education and Practice regarding the applicable website, purchase, course, or service.

28. Student Accounts and Login Credentials
Certain courses, programs, communities, materials, and services require the creation of an individual student account through LearnWorlds or another course platform.
You agree to provide accurate and current registration information and to maintain the confidentiality of your username, password, login link, and other account credentials.
Your account is for your individual use only. You may not share your account, login credentials, course access, materials, or restricted content with another person.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless you promptly notify us that your credentials have been lost, stolen, disclosed, or used without authorization.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe that account sharing, unauthorized access, fraudulent activity, misuse, or a security concern has occurred.
29. Course Access Periods
Purchasing or enrolling in a course grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access the course according to the access period stated on the course sales page, checkout page, enrollment communication, or course description.

Students are responsible for downloading any materials specifically made available for download before their access period ends.

Course enrollment, certificates, assessment results, attendance records, and student accounts are issued to the person identified during registration.

31. Course Completion Requirements

Certificates and other training records will be issued using the student name and information maintained in the applicable course account.
You are responsible for ensuring that your name and identifying information are entered correctly before a certificate is issued.
Requests to correct or replace certificates may be subject to identity verification, administrative processing requirements, or a reasonable replacement fee when permitted by law.
A certificate confirms only that the stated requirements of the applicable course were completed. It does not guarantee competence beyond the course scope, employment, insurance eligibility, professional recognition, membership eligibility, licensure, or acceptance by any third-party organization.
Students are responsible for determining whether a course or certificate satisfies the requirements of an employer, professional organization, insurer, licensing body, school, or other third party before enrolling.
34. Hybrid and In-Person Course Requirements
Some programs may combine self-paced online learning with scheduled virtual instruction, live demonstrations, and in-person training.
The online and in-person portions may be required components of a single course. Completion of the online portion alone does not necessarily qualify a participant for a certificate or completion documentation.
Students are responsible for reviewing course schedules, locations, deadlines, preparation instructions, required materials, and attendance expectations before enrolling.
Unless otherwise stated, transportation, lodging, meals, parking, internet service, personal equipment, and other participation-related expenses are the student's responsibility.
We may reasonably modify an in-person location, room assignment, instructor, schedule, activity, or delivery format when necessary because of safety concerns, illness, weather, facility issues, enrollment levels, emergencies, platform outages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
35. Attendance, Late Arrival, and Missed Components
Students are expected to arrive on time and remain present for required live or in-person course components.
Late arrival, early departure, extended absence, missed instruction, or failure to participate in required activities may prevent the student from meeting course-completion requirements.
When feasible, we may offer a make-up activity, transfer, alternate date, or other remediation option. Such options are not guaranteed and may involve an additional fee when additional instruction, materials, facility use, or administrative work is required.
Recordings of live or in-person sessions are not guaranteed.
36. Student Conduct and Learning Environment
Students must interact respectfully with instructors, facilitators, staff, guests, and other students.
Conduct that may result in removal or restriction includes harassment, intimidation, threats, discrimination, sexual misconduct, repeated disruption, unwanted physical contact, boundary violations, unauthorized recording, intoxication, unsafe conduct, deliberate misuse of spiritual practices, disclosure of another student's private information, or conduct that reasonably interferes with the safety or educational experience of others.
Removal based on serious misconduct or a safety concern does not automatically entitle the student to a refund.
37. Recording, Photography, and Screenshots
Students may not record, photograph, livestream, screen-record, screenshot, transcribe, reproduce, or distribute restricted course content, live sessions, in-person instruction, student discussions, demonstrations, assessments, or community interactions without prior written permission.
Permission to record one activity does not create permission to record any other activity.
The Center may photograph or record certain events, classes, or instructional activities only when appropriate notice and any required consent have been provided. Students who do not wish to appear in optional promotional recordings should notify the facilitator before recording begins.
38. Community Confidentiality
Course communities and group discussions may involve personal reflections, spiritual experiences, questions, or voluntary disclosures by participants.
Although students are expected to respect one another's privacy, The Center cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality.
You agree not to share, repeat, publish, screenshot, record, identify, or distribute another participant's statements, images, experiences, or personal information outside the course environment without that person's express permission.
Students should use discretion and avoid sharing information they would not want disclosed outside the learning environment.
References to a course community or related learning community include any private Facebook group or other third-party community space designated for enrolled students.
39. Communications and Electronic Notices
By creating an account, enrolling, or making a purchase, you agree that we may send operational communications reasonably related to your account, enrollment, payment, course access, schedules, deadlines, safety, certificates, policy changes, or customer support.
Operational communications are separate from optional promotional or marketing communications.
Where required, marketing communications will be sent according to the preferences and consent options available through the website or course platform.

40. Payment Plans, Subscriptions, and Recurring Charges

Initiating a chargeback does not automatically cancel an enrollment, payment obligation, or agreement.
We may suspend course access while a payment dispute is pending.
We reserve the right to provide the payment processor or financial institution with relevant transaction records, including checkout disclosures, enrollment records, login history, course-access records, communications, completed activities, attendance records, and applicable policies.
Nothing in this section limits any lawful consumer right to dispute an unauthorized or improper charge.
42. Promotions, Discounts, and Coupon Codes
Promotions, discounts, scholarships, coupon codes, and special pricing may be subject to eligibility criteria, enrollment limits, expiration dates, and additional terms.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers may not be combined, transferred, redeemed for cash, or applied retroactively to a previous purchase.

Course messaging, email, comments, and community areas are not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent, crisis-related, medical, or mental health needs.

Students seeking a reasonable accommodation should contact us as early as possible and provide enough information to allow the request to be evaluated.
We will consider reasonable accommodation requests in good faith, but we cannot guarantee that every requested modification will be available or appropriate, particularly when it would fundamentally alter the course, eliminate an essential requirement, create an undue burden, or create a safety concern.
Students are not required to disclose more private information than is reasonably necessary to evaluate an accommodation request.
46. Platform Records and Proof of Participation
The records maintained through LearnWorlds, payment processors, email systems, attendance records, and other business systems may be used to document enrollment, acceptance of policies, payments, account access, lesson progress, assessment activity, communications, attendance, and course completion.
Technical records are not guaranteed to be error-free. Students should notify us promptly if they believe their course progress, payment history, attendance, or completion status has been recorded incorrectly.
47. Electronic Acceptance
Checking an acceptance box, creating an account, submitting an enrollment form, completing checkout, accessing course content, or continuing to use the course platform after being presented with these Terms constitutes electronic acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Electronic acceptance has the same effect as agreeing to these Terms in writing, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
48. Severability

50. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, applicable checkout disclosures, course-specific policies, consent forms, and written enrollment terms, constitute the agreement between you and The Center for Spiritual Education and Practice regarding the applicable website, purchase, course, or service.
When a course-specific written policy directly conflicts with these general Terms, the more specific policy will control for that particular course or offering, to the extent permitted by law.

Offerings are for non-clinical spiritual education, Reiki training, holistic learning, and personal development only.
