Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Level I: Foundations, Self-Healing & Practice | Hybrid (Online + In-Person)

Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Level I introduces students to the foundations of Reiki in a warm, grounded, and spiritually respectful learning environment. This course explores Reiki history, lineage, ethical practice, self-Reiki, spiritual reflection, and personal integration. Students are invited to begin developing a personal relationship with Reiki through reflection, practice, and respectful inquiry.
Level I focuses primarily on self-Reiki, self-awareness, and beginning a steady personal spiritual practice. The course is designed for beginners and supports students in learning at a thoughtful pace while honoring consent, humility, and appropriate boundaries.
Attendance Requirement
Attendance at the scheduled in-person session is required
to receive the Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Level I Placement.
Students who do not attend the in-person session will not
receive the Level I Placement and, therefore, will not be eligible to
receive the Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Level I designation or certificate of
completion.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled session due to
unforeseen circumstances, please contact the facilitator as soon as possible to discuss whether alternative arrangements may be
available. Alternative arrangements are made solely at the discretion of The
Center for Spiritual Education and Practice, are not guaranteed,
and may require the payment of additional fees to cover instructor time,
facility costs, or other associated expenses.
WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR
This course is designed for individuals who are seeking a thoughtful, structured introduction to Reiki within a professional and ethically grounded learning environment.
This course may be a good fit if you:
- Are completely new to Reiki and want a clear foundation.
- Want to develop a personal self-Reiki practice.
- Prefer learning at your own pace before attending an in-person training.
- Value critical thinking, ethical practice, and respectful spiritual exploration.

- Wish to build confidence before progressing to future Reiki training.

By the end of this course, students who successfully complete all course requirements will be able to:
- Explain the history, philosophy, and principles of Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki.
- Demonstrate an understanding of Reiki ethics, informed consent, and professional boundaries.
- Perform a complete self-Reiki session using the techniques taught throughout the course.
- Prepare themselves and their environment for Reiki practice.
- Describe the purpose and process of the Usui/Holy Fire® III Level I Placement.
- Develop a sustainable personal Reiki practice supported by reflection and continued learning.
- Recognize appropriate applications and limitations of Reiki within ethical practice.

MORE THAN A WEEKEND CLASS
Many Reiki courses can be completed in a single day or weekend with limited educational content.
This hybrid program was intentionally designed to provide a more comprehensive learning experience by combining structured online education with an in-person Level I Placement and guided practice session.
Students are encouraged to build understanding through education, reflection, and practice—not simply attend a class and receive a certificate.
By investing time in learning the foundations of Reiki, students leave with greater confidence, a stronger ethical framework, and a clearer understanding of how Reiki can become part of a lifelong personal practice.
FLEXIBLE, SELF-PACED LEARNING
Most students complete the online portion of this course over approximately 2–4 weeks, although you are welcome to progress at your own pace before attending the scheduled in-person session.
This flexible format allows you to review lessons, revisit course materials, and prepare for your Level I Placement in a way that supports your individual learning style.
